You Passed the US Citizenship Test |
Congratulations - you got 9 out of 10 correct! |
I decided that I would try to take the Citizenship Test. There were some hard questions there. I wasn't sure how good I'd do. LOL Looks like I'm smarter than I think. :)
Okay... so I'm supposed to tell you about my life...
Right now, I spend all my free time I can knitting. I have one indoor felted boot (from Socks Soar on Two Circular Needles by Cat Bordhi) done and another started. I'm using a light blue/grey color. The first set is for my mother. She's a bit upset that only one is done right now. She said that she's only going to have one warm foot this winter. I have 2/3 done on the french market bag from knitty.com. I'm using Cascade 220 in a green and grey mix. I'm really excited that the pattern is going so good. :) It's nice simple knitting so that I don't really have to pay too much attention to it while I'm doing it. And lastly, I have have all the stuff together to start Clapotis from knitty.com. I just have to work out the kfb and pfb. :) I knit in a combined method that is much quicker than when I was knitting with the english method, but the stitches turn out slightly different.
Oh yeah! I'm also reading Anna Karenina. (At least I'm trying to read it again...) I really want to read it, but it's so hard to get into. I read the first 140 pages two years ago and put it down. It took two years to pick it back up, so I had to start all over again. I think of the wasted time... I don't really understand this problem I have with this book. I'm an avid reader. I usually go through a book a day on the weekend. But, this book is torture!!!!! But, I feel I'm missing an experience. I never read Jane Austen when I was younger and have recently read some of her stuff and it was great. I'm glad I didn't let myself miss out on that experience... I hope I can make it through this one!!! :)
