I should wear a warning sign...

You see warning signs everywhere... They are for the good of mankind.... They keep people safe. I need one.

Mine will say "Caution- Do not approach. Foul mood will likely last for several more months."

Today is the day of mom's surgery. Today is the day her life will start over. I wish I had one too.

(I'm really sorry that all my posts are grumpy. I'm not a grumpy person. No usually...)

You'll have your surgery soon enough! Just keep your eyes on the prize and don't stress about the people who beat you to it; you'll still get there. :-)

I'm with Sarah. You'll be fine and I understand that you are grumpy but you're right behind her and you'll get your opportunity soon. You can still make today the first day of the rest of your life by making another change in your life (diet, exercise, religion, school, etc.) and you'll have a jump start when it's time for you to get your surgery. Think of the positive changes you can make now.

I'm a grump too and I often find myself living in the future. It will all be better after _____. Live for today and know that you'll be there in just a little bit.
